The versatile UL-900 can be used in a number of underleaving application from sandwich setups to scored beef patties. The unit is compatible with various patty formers and slicers. The UL-900 slits a wide roll of paper into desired multiple ribbon sheet widths, cuts the sheets to the desired length and inserts the individual paper sheets under the rows or product from the portioning machine

UL-900 Standard Features

  • Main Drive is brushless servo motor
  • The number of paper sheets across and sheet width per patty is determined by the number of paper slitters and relative positions that are easily set by the operator
  • The wide paper rolls are placed on a convenient roll around lift that installs the paper easily into the machine
  • The controls are installed in a NEMA 4x Heated Control Panel

Production Rates

  • Groups per minute - up to 120 (6 rows x 120 groups = 720 portions per minute)
  • Rate is determined by slicer or patty machine

Operator Settings

  • Number of paper sheets across is determined by number of paper slitters installed (1 to 6 sheets)
  • Paper sheet width is determined by slitter positions and paper roll width

Operator Controls

  • Paper cut length is 4 to 12 inches
  • Patty positioning on paper sheet - (front to back)
  • Conveyor speed is adjustable to match feed rate
